Settings

Common Browser Settings

  • → Go to Tools » Internet Option
  • → Select the Security tab from the menu. click Internet option and choose Custom Level button and make following settings into ActiveX Controls And Plus Ins
    1 Allow previously unused Act. Cont.to run without promt» Enable
    2 Allow scriptlets» Enable
    3 Automatic prompting for Act. Cont.» Enable
    4 Binary and script behaviours» Enable
    5 Display video and animation on webpage that does not use external media player» Enable
    6 Download signed Act. Cont.» Prompt
    7 Download unsigned Act. Cont.» Prompt
    8 Initialize & script Act. Cont. not marked as safe for scripting» Prompt
    9 Only allow approved domains to use Act. Cont. without prompt» Enable
    10 Run Act. Cont. and plug-ins» Enable
    11 Script Act. Cont. marked safe for scripting» Enable
  • → Reset Custom Settings to Medium or Medium-High.
  • → For uploading documents ensure the following Internet Explorer setting.
    1 Go to Tools » Internet Options » Advanced : Uncheck Do not save encrypted pages to disk under Security heading.
    2 After Installing JAVA. Go to Tools » Internet Options » Advanced: Check Use JRE 1.6.0 for Applet under Java (Sun) heading.
    3 Setting Of Manage Add-ons : Go to Tools » Manage Add-ons : Select Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer from the drop down and enable the status of Add-ons Names as marked.
    4 Users need to make sure that the site(s) should be added in trusted sites list as shown in image(This is not mandatory for all cases).

Hardware Requirements

  • → A system with minimum P-III Processor.
  • → 64 MB RAM or above.
  • → 10 GB HDD or above recommended.
  • → Ethernet based Network Interface.
  • → Modem or mode of connecting Internet for web based users.
  • → Workable input and output devices.
  • → UPS for power backup.

Software Requirements

  • → Windows based operating system Windows 98 Release 2, Windows NT, Windows 2000 professional, Windows XP.
  • → Web browser - Internet Explorer 10 or above recommended.
  • → Some components of eprocurement application are not compatible with Internet Explorer 7.0 and Windows Vista Operating System.

Trouble Shooting

If you are not able to open the tender site do the following :

  • Check your Internet connectivity.
  • Open the properties box of the internet connection ( double click the icon on the status bar of your machine ).
  • Keep this window open on your desktop and try to open the site www.eprocurement.gov.in again. Monitor the bytes in and bytes out section in the properties window of your Internet connection. If there are no changes try to open any other site and see the difference, if still there are no changes in the bytes send and receive which means your Internet connection is hanged. Kindly disconnect your connection and reconnect your Internet connection.
  • If you are unable to open any government website that means your machine is behind proxy or any other firewall. You have to ensure that the secure connection on the proxy as the government website (https) is enable.
  • In case of slow connectivity to any government websites (https) - check the speed of your internet connection which you are getting currently. Contact to your ISP if desirable speed is not available.
  • Clear the Cache of your temporary internet files ( open your Browser -> Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Temporary Internet files section ).
  • In the tender site if you are facing any Data Signer Control Problems, do the following :
    • Add the URL of any government website (https) to the trusted sites list in the internet option. ( Open your browser -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Trusted Sites -> Sites -> Type the URL https://tender.eprocurement.gov.in -> Click on Add -> OK ).
    • Change ActiveX Controls And Plug-Ins status to Enable. ( Open your browser -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Trusted Sites -> Custom Level -> Active X Controls and Plug-ins -> Enable ).

IREPS Settings

Some system requirements are as following :

  • Windows 7 or above with Internet Explorer 11 or above.
  • JRE (Java Runtime Environment) - Latest Update.
  • Token Driver for Digital Signing Certificate with signing and encryption (Provided by supplier of DSC).
  • Vendors / Contractors: Class III with Organization Name.
  • Railway / Departmental users: Class II with Organization Name.
  • DSCs in which the Organization name is not mentioned, or Personal is mentioned in Organization name will not be accepted.
  • Also follow common settings as mentioned above.

nProcurement Settings

Some system requirements are as following :

  • Windows 7 or above with Internet Explorer 11 or above.
  • JRE (Java Runtime Environment) - Latest Update.
  • Token Driver for Digital Signing Certificate with signing and encryption (Provided by supplier of DSC).
  • Download and install (n)Procure Component.
  • Check browser compatibility, To check Click Here.
  • If machine is not compatible with any Frameworks then click to download, Framework - 2(x32) or Framework - 2(x64).
  • DSCs in which the Organization name is not mentioned, or Personal is mentioned in Organization name will not be accepted.
  • Also follow common settings as mentioned above.

eProcurement Settings

Some system requirements are as following :

  • Windows 7 or above with Internet Explorer 11 or above.
  • JRE (Java Runtime Environment) - Latest Update.
  • Token Driver for Digital Signing Certificate with signing and encryption (Provided by supplier of DSC).
  • DSCs in which the Organization name is not mentioned, or Personal is mentioned in Organization name will not be accepted.
  • Also follow common settings as mentioned above.

ISRO eProcurement Settings

Some system requirements are as following :

  • Windows 7 or above with Internet Explorer 11 or above.
  • JRE (Java Runtime Environment) - Latest Update.
  • Token Driver for Digital Signing Certificate with signing and encryption (Provided by supplier of DSC).
  • DSCs in which the Organization name is not mentioned, or Personal is mentioned in Organization name will not be accepted.
  • Also follow common settings as mentioned above.

Mahatender Settings

Some system requirements are as following :

  • Windows 7 or above with Internet Explorer 11 or above.
  • JRE (Java Runtime Environment) - Latest Update.
  • Token Driver for Digital Signing Certificate with signing and encryption (Provided by supplier of DSC).
  • DSCs in which the Organization name is not mentioned, or Personal is mentioned in Organization name will not be accepted.
  • Also follow common settings as mentioned above.

AP eTender Settings

Some system requirements are as following :

  • Windows 7 or above with Internet Explorer 11 or above.
  • JRE (Java Runtime Environment) - Latest Update.
  • Token Driver for Digital Signing Certificate with signing and encryption (Provided by supplier of DSC).
  • DSCs in which the Organization name is not mentioned, or Personal is mentioned in Organization name will not be accepted.
  • If you are firefox browser user then download from here Firefox Setup 47.0.1(32 bit).
  • Download eMSigner.
  • Also follow common settings as mentioned above.

Tender Wizard Settings

Some system requirements are as following :

  • Windows 7 or above with Internet Explorer 11 or above.
  • JRE (Java Runtime Environment) - Latest Update.
  • Token Driver for Digital Signing Certificate with signing and encryption (Provided by supplier of DSC).
  • DSCs in which the Organization name is not mentioned, or Personal is mentioned in Organization name will not be accepted.
  • Also follow common settings as mentioned above.
